Bury URC is committed to serving Fairtrade tea/ coffee and other ingredients in its Cafe and after worship. Bury URC also has a Fairtrade stall which is restocked regularly and members of the congregation are encouraged to support Fairtrade by purchasing items such as chocolate/ cereal bars/ loo roll/ tissues/ tea/ coffee/ sweets/ mints/ preserves/ breakfast cereals etc
As well as our church being committed to Fairtrade- the town of Bury has recently become a Fairtrade town and is committed to bringing Fairtade items for sale in shops and to serve Fairtrade items in its cafes.
